Matthew Bess

Matt grew up in Colorado, where he got into fly fishing at a young age and eventually started working in a fly shop. While attending Montana State University, he spent his summers back home guiding in Colorado.

After college, Matt began traveling for fishing, spending time guiding in Alaska and taking on a role as a fishing director at a lodge in Mexico. He now splits his time between guiding in Alaska, here in Chile, and working in Mexico.

Matt is a versatile guide who simply loves to fish and enjoys sharing that experience with the people he’s on the water with.
