Augustus Owen

Augustus grew up in western North Carolina, where his passion for fishing and exploring first began. As he got older and started teaching his friends how to fish, he discovered a love for sharing his knowledge and passion for trout with others.

Immediately after high school, Gus moved to Wyoming to explore and begin guiding and he hasn’t stopped since. He now spends his summers guiding in Colorado and Wyoming, and his winters at The Patagonian BaseCamp.

Gus is driven by wild water and the pursuit of trout in places few have ever reached for the trout everyone dreams of.
