Gregory Bricker

"The General" started guiding for The Patagonian BaseCamp in 2008 and is now heading for his seventh season. He believes in big dries and fast-stripped streamers. And he’s been proved right in many, many occasions. He has some huge fish on his "track record".

Greg began his fly fishing career on the many spring creeks and small freestone streams of Pennsylvania. After obtaining his diploma from Hobart College in upstate New York, Greg moved west and quickly found his home in Southwest Montana. He began guiding fly fishermen on the blue ribbon trout streams of Montana in 2000, and in Chile in 2005. In 2011 Greg started his own fly fishing outfitting business out of Bozeman, check out his website at

He now spends 10 months a year guiding and fishing for trout. As an avid saltwater angler, Greg also likes to spend a week or two per year chasing tarpon in the Florida Keys.

He is a member of the Pro Staffs of Simms, Ross Reels, St. Croix fly rods, and Ro Driftboats.
